Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour (10 Days)
Duration : 10 DAYS / 09 NIGHTS
Destination: Delhi - Lucknow - Balrampur - Kushinagar - Patna - Bodhgaya
- Varanasi.
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival you will be received by our representative and transferred to hotel
where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight will
be at hotel.
Day2 : Delhi
This day you will be taken for a trip to this very heart of India. The trip
will cover Old Delhi and New Delhi. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day3 :Lucknow
In the morning you will be transferred to airport to board flight to Lucknow.
On arrival, you will be transferred to hotel. Then from Lucknow you will leave
for Sravasti via Balrampur. By noon we would be there and then all we would
do is explore the place. Overnight will at hotel.
Day4 : Lumbini
In the morning, you will leave for Lumbini. This is the place where Lord Buddha
took his first breath. We would have to resort in Lumbini as there are ample
of sites to watch. Overnight stay will be in Lumbini hotel.
Day 5 : Lumbini
This day we would see the sunrise in Lumbini. You will go for a sightseeing
tour which would involve exploration of sites like Mathakur Sites, Ramabhar
stupa, Kushinagar museum. We would spend out night in the resort itself.
Day 6 : Vaishali
Early in the morning, you will leave for Vaishali. All morning you will be
capturing one site to another. After lunch, we would go to The Institute for
research into Buddhism and Pali literature, and in the evening, we would survey
the markets. Later return to the resort to have our food. Overnight stay will
be in the resort.
Day 7 :Bodhgaya
In the morning, we would leave to Bodhgaya. En-route would fall two another
pilgrimage destinations - Rajgir and Bodhgaya. In the afternoon, we would
be would be strolling the city and would know more about it from the localities.
Overnight stay will be in the resort.
Day 8 : Varanasi
In morning you will be transferred to Varanasi. We would have booked your
hotel in Varanasi. Rest of the will be at your leisure. Overnight stay will
be in the resort.
Day 9 :Varanasi
This day we would exclusively cover the ghats of Varanasi. Then we would stroll
the streats of Varanasi. An astrologer would forcast your future and then
we would return to our hotel and pack our bags. In the evening, a cultural
show showcasing the local cultural songs and dances. Your meal would be served
on time. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Back home
Next morning, you will be transferred to airport to board flight to Delhi
for our onward journey. En-route you will visit the famous Sarnath.
